Pre-Order your copy of The Contemporary Australian Family Photographic Project Book

It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that the design and layout for the inaugural Contemporary Australian Family Photographic Project Book is currently underway. As you are aware the curators (David Lloyd, Moshe Rosenzveig, and Jules Tennant) are currently choosing a strong coherent essay from the photographs submitted by the 30 photographers who have taken part in this project, and who have photographed their interpretation of the Contemporary Australian Family. The curators final selections will be completed by the end of November and the final design work for the book will be completed by end of December, ready for publication early January/February, 2012. The book publication will feature an ISBN, a 200 page A4 full colour publication that will feature the photo-essay chosen by the curators, in addition to landscape photographs (urban and country), which will are also representative of each Australian State. The book will also feature a foreword, an essay, participant photographers contact details and their family narratives that will sit alongside the curated photo essay.

The book publication will be officially released on March 15th, 2012, to coincide with the opening of the first print exhibition at the Breadbox Gallery, Northbridge, Perth, as part of Foto Freo. A multi-media presentation will be also be screened at the Piazza, Northbridge, 10 times per day during the month of Foto Freo.
